Hypnosis: Using the Power Within You

I speak often about manifesting and raising your vibrations in order to attract the right people and the right circumstances to you so you can move forward.  For some of you out there, still seeing manifesting as a challenge, I have a suggestion. Believe me, I have had my moments, just as you have, and more than once I have been told by the one man that can get away with it, “maybe you ought to go back and read your own blog”.

Self Hypnosis: You Hypnotize Yourself Every Day

Prayers are a form of hypnosis, so are affirmations, any repetitive scripting (self-talk) is self-hypnosis. Self-Hypnosis is how manifesting works. I often talk about language and the power of the mind. Self-hypnosis is how we have put ourselves in our current situations, both positive and negative, using the SAME techniques everyone talks about concerning The Law of Attraction and what is explained in "The Secret". What many of us do not realize is that it works to influence positive behavior as well as negative behavior.

Your mind is like a garden, whatever you plant and nurture will come up whether it is weeds or roses! When you use repetitive self-talk, or in simple terms, when you tell yourself something often enough, your subconscious begins to believe it and it soon becomes part of your natural behavior...think about couples that live together and eventually begin to pick up each other's habits...same thing.

For example, if you smoke and cannot quit no matter what you have tried, chances are you need to reverse your hypnosis script! I hear you now, “but Catherine, I don’t have a script” you just don’t think you do. My mother smokes. She is 79 years of age, she quit for 25 years and started up again when my sister and her children started smoking.
